We went four people for a quick launch but the place was already full with reservations socwe have to find a spot on our own on the bar.

We had some tapas and raciones amd the food was pretty good. The cecina rolls filled eith Foie were amazing amd by far ma favorites.

Service was a bit off - the confused some of our order and we had to battle for their attention at the bat even for getting the bill. I assume it's different when you get an actual table though.

Overall a nice spot with some unique tapas and decent pricing.

Value for money 7/10.

We were lucky to find La Favorita around the time we got hungry for breakfast. They served a variety of freshly made sandwiches with a combination of eggs and other ingredients such as chorizo, jamón ibérico, atún y más. The food was delicious, the coffee and service as well. We saw them putting out a delicious array of tapas for the midday crowd. We will def come back and highly recommend.

The food is overrated, the steak sandwich is overcooked and very chewy. There were only two staff and they weren’t really pleasant or friendly, especially to outsiders. The wine is also over priced. I do not think I will go there again in the future.

Passed by coincidentally at it was amazing. Everything we tried on the menu was over the top! The location is great, staff super attentive and good just delicious. Wine options also stunning. Would definitely come again!

⭐️⭐️ Food is overrated — more hype than substance.
The pintxos were below average; the bread was soggy, and the jamón serrano (sliced to order) was cut too thick, with some pieces dry and tough to chew. Another pintxo recommended by the staff, which included meat, was nearly impossible to eat due to the fibrous texture. On the positive side, the service was friendly — the ladies behind the bar were warm and attentive. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the reputation

Amazing restaurant in Burgos. Fish and meat dishes are GREAT. Also the starters and the desert amazed us. Very authentic - superb service. You can also have pinchos and drinks at the bar.

While visiting northern Spain it was our intention to try a variety of tapas venues.

While the two dishes we tried at La Favorita were tasty, we sadly were unable to try more. This was primarily because staff were more focused on their local customers, rather than assist two international guests that they’ll never see again.

We appreciate that we walked in at a busy time of the evening and that we are not native speakers, however our experience might have been more pleasant and effective if there were signs next to the tapas so customers could know what they are hoping to choose - this would save everyone from frustration, particularly due to language challenges.

Unless you are a fluent native speaker, I suggest visiting during a quieter time when staff assistance might be more forthcoming.

I ordered the salmon salad. It was just ok - it was a thin, marinated fillet and it was a little tough to cut. Different than what I’m used to in the U.S. - so my opinion is based on that. It tasted ok.
